The belly is really starting to protrude now! Although, I am still getting the comments from people "You don't even look pregnant!", I promptly show them my belly and confirm that yes, indeed, there is a baby growing in there.
The news this week with the baby is that it is 5-5 1/2 inches long and weighs approx. 5 oz. (the size of a bell pepper). The baby's rapid growth period is beginning to slow down, but his or her facial features are starting to form. Our baby can now yawn, frown, smile, and make other facial expressions. Taste buds have developed, and our baby can sense bitter from sweet, and swallowing reflexes are now present. He or she may even start getting the hiccups! Because baby's eyes are still developing, they're very sensitive. If a light is shined onto my belly, our baby might flinch and try to cover his or her face. (Which we won't be testing!)
We have also begun work on the nursery. . . finalized the bedding and now working through the paint. Ah, the fun of paint- a billion different colors all in the same color spectrum. . . as you can see we are having fun with this part of the nursery too.

All of the colors on the wall appear blue... can we read into that!?
We are going for a teal/blue color so it is neutral. . . nice catch though! The second round in the paint section will be green since we can't seem to find the "perfect" color to match the bedding we bought!
hey hot stuff....haven't seen the sweet orange/pink shirt I gave you in a picture!?!?!?!
See, I'm a 'follower' now on this blog too so I'll be notified as you post new material!
